Fort Myers Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, a 120-bed facility located in Fort Myers, Florida, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team. Our state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to providing exceptional care and services to our patients, and we are committed to delivering a high-quality experience for both our patients and staff.
About the Role:
As a Physical Therapist at Fort Myers Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, you will play a crucial role in our rehabilitation team, providing one-on-one therapy sessions to patients with various medical conditions. You will assess patients' physical abilities, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and monitor their progress. Your expertise will enable patients to regain independence, improve mobility, and enhance their overall quality of life.
Responsibilities:
Conduct initial evaluations and develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients with various rehabilitation needs
Administer physical therapy interventions, including exercises, stretches, and modalities
Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Maintain accurate and thorough records of patient treatments and progress
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and facility performance

Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida
