Quick Facts Location: Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital, 155 Glasson Way, Grass Valley, CA 95945 Start Date: 06/20/2026 Schedule/Shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (Specific dates: 07 31, 10/02, 11 04, 12 25) Hours per Week: 40 hours (approximate) Employment Type: Locum/Temporary Licenses/Certifications: CA Medical License, Board Certification in Radiology Experience: Prior IR procedures, acute care imaging (Stroke, ED, ICU) experience required Pay & Benefits Pay: Competitive hourly rates; malpractice included Orientation: $287.50 $312.50 (depending on hours) after 8 hours Holiday Pay: 1.5x hourly rate ($862.50 $937.50 per holiday hour) Benefits: Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick leave in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements where applicable Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated support team What You ll Do Provide hospital coverage for diagnostic imaging procedures, including stroke CTs and various IR interventions Perform non-complex IR procedures such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, nephrostomy, and drain placements Conduct contrast-enhanced CTs, MRIs, and breast biopsies in outpatient settings Interpret imaging studies across ED, ICU, and inpatient units Support emergency and scheduled procedures per facility protocols Collaborate with radiology nurses and tech staff to ensure quality patient care What You Need Valid California Medical License and Board Certification in Radiology Minimum of 2 years experience in interventional radiology and acute care imaging Proficiency in IR procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and thoracentesis Ability to interpret stroke, ED, and ICU imaging studies Strong teamwork and communication skills About the Assignment Join a dedicated team at a general acute care hospital in Grass Valley, CA, committed to delivering high-quality diagnostic and interventional radiology services.
