Need a strong Python developer with some AWS experience. They need to have worked with the infrastructure through code, and any data processing / transformation is a huge plus. This person will be doing day to day hands on coding in Python.

Notes from previous role:

Must have 5+ years of experience with Cloud - must have AWS experience. Not just "proficient " but good actual working experience with this!! Not looking for someone entry level, looking for a SENIOR Developer Must not only have the work listed on the resume, but be able to showcase this work and speak to their experience. Please ensure they know how to not only speak to their experience, but can prove they have worked on this.

How is it impacting the business? Driving forward the Wells Fargo integration and Transforming our current reporting infrastructure. Not having this role leaves a capacity gap for the team.

What is the scope of the project? This program team is transforming the existing, on prem client reporting environment utilizing modern, cloud technology. This transformation will provide the scalable infrastructure client reporting needs to meet current and future needs. Additionally the team is integrating the newly acquired Wells Fargo IAA Account data into this infrastructure. On a daily basis this individual will work with the program team to execute technical deliveries to achieve this program state.

What technologies or systems will this contingent worker be utilizing? Cloud Technology - AWS, Python, S3, Lambdas, etc.

Size and Culture of the team? 9 software engineers + 5 project team members (BA's, etc.) + this role. 15 total

Qualifications: Associate's or bachelor's degree (preference in a computer science, technology, engineering or math-related field or equivalent experience) and 4-6 years work experience or equivalent experience. Proven experience as an IT professional. Ability to obtain certification(s) in an IT related field is a plus. Basic knowledge of insurance and financial services products preferred. Basic planning, organizational, problem-solving, analytical, decision-making and communication skills required. Proficiency with database applications, knowledge of mainframe, distributed and/or web programming language. Basic leadership skills preferred. Excellent time management skills preferred. Must be able to maintain a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality. Must have the desire to learn new technology and continuously grow. Ability to work on cross-functional teams and collaborate with both It and non-IT partners. Some travel may be required, including overnight stays. May be required to provide on-call support.

Responsibilities: Able to work with guidance on software development/solutions. With guidance, conduct analysis and development, elicit requirements, write correct and clean coding, automated testing, debugging, documentation, quality assurance review, implementation and maintenance.
