Global Market Insights Analyst II

FUNCTIONAL PURPOSE: Analyzes and evaluates customer data, financial metrics, and operational performance metrics to provide insights. Identifies and prioritizes new solutions, trends, and strategies for USPS to increase revenue and remain competitive in the market. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Analyzes, interprets, and presents internal product and service performance reports, customer reports, and network systems reports. Develops high-level dashboards to identify areas of opportunity and prioritize design of new or enhanced USPS international processes, products, and services. 2. Monitors and analyzes customer feedback to provide summaries and recommendations to management. Collaborates with internal stakeholders to track the progress of initiatives to address customer feedback. 3. Conducts market research to inform decisions related to the implementation, testing, and improvement of new processes, products, and services to improve USPS competitive positioning for international shipping. 4. Researches industry changes in external environments (e.g., federal agencies, foreign posts, major corporations, business community) to identify and analyze potential impacts on Postal Service plans. 5. Synthesizes and summarizes service and quality indicators to identify and recommend solutions to improve operational performance. 6. Assists internal and external stakeholders with responding to requests for information about International Business (e.g., Freedom of Information Act [FOIA], Government Accountability Office [GAO], Congress, Postal Regulatory Commission [PRC], Office of Inspector General [OIG]). REQUIREMENTS: 1. Knowledge of query, scripting, and statistical programming languages and tools (e.g., Qlik, Teradata, Enterprise Data Lake [EDL]) sufficient to identify, collect, manipulate, and analyze data and create dashboards. 2. Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships at various levels in the organization to support eliciting requirements and evaluating requests for research and analysis. 3. Ability to collect and analyze financial, customer, and operational data to identify and forecast market trends. 4. Ability to evaluate customer feedback and studies to determine the future environment of the Postal Service, and areas for process improvement. 5. Ability to monitor and research the external environment to determine organizational impact. 6. Ability to synthesize disparate data, glean key insights, develop presentation materials, and present to various levels of the organization, including executive leadership. #J-18808-Ljbffr
