Dining Room Manager Requirements & Qualifications

Minimum 3 years in a restaurant management or leadership role
Experience managing both front- and back-of-house operations
Comfortable working in all areas of the restaurant, including the kitchen
Demonstrated servant leadership style focused on team support and development
Experience managing scheduling, inventory, and P&L responsibilities

Dining Room Manager Preferred Background & Skills

Background in polished-casual, upscale, or fine-dining restaurants
Enjoys hands-on leadership in a scratch kitchen environment

Dining Room Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Deliver an outstanding guest experience through highly trained, supported teams
Supervise and provide timely feedback to hourly team members across shifts
Foster a people-first culture where team members are valued as the top asset
Drive sales growth through operational excellence and training
Maintain quality standards and hold teams accountable to company expectations
Oversee profitability while ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction
