About the Role

The Technology Consulting Lead is a senior advisor to schools districts colleges universities public agencies and nonprofit organizations on the technology they buy build and adopt.

You will lead engagements spanning infrastructure systems data cloud Salesforce AI readiness technology roadmaps and vendor-neutral procurement. Just as importantly you will help clients address the people and organizational changes required for successful adoption.

This is also a practice-building role. You will help shape how ATS scopes delivers and improves technology engagements while setting the technical and quality standards for the team.

What You Will Do

Lead Technology Consulting

• Lead technology assessments strategy planning and roadmap engagements across infrastructure networks systems data and cloud.
  

• Advise clients on vendor-neutral procurement requirements evaluation criteria and total cost considerations.
  

• Lead Salesforce AI readiness and platform advisory engagements.
  

• Translate complex technology decisions for executives boards and other non-technical stakeholders.
  

• Integrate stakeholder engagement change readiness communications training and adoption into technology engagements.
  

Provide Technical Leadership

• Set technical standards and quality expectations for client work.
  

• Review deliverables and coach consultants and analysts.
  

• Serve as the technical authority in client and prospect discussions.
  

• Partner with the Engagement Principal who leads client relationships and commercial strategy.
  

Build the Practice

• Help shape how ATS scopes prices and delivers technology consulting engagements.
  

• Contribute technical strategy and content to proposals and competitive procurements.
  

• Strengthen methodologies tools and offerings as the practice grows.
  

Requirements

What We Are Looking For

• Significant experience leading technology strategy consulting transformation or advisory engagements.
  

• Broad knowledge across infrastructure systems data cloud and enterprise platforms.
  

• Experience advising executive and non-technical stakeholders on complex technology decisions.
  

• Strong understanding of technology adoption change management and stakeholder engagement.
  

• Ability to evaluate technology and vendors objectively and translate technical analysis into practical recommendations.
  

• Experience with Salesforce applied AI education technology public-sector technology or mission-driven organizations is a plus.
  

What Success Looks Like

You deliver practical technology recommendations clients act on build adoption into the work from the beginning develop the consulting team and establish standards that produce consistently strong client outcomes.

Location and Travel

Hybrid work is anchored to our New York City office at 165 Broadway 23rd Floor . Fully remote candidates in the continental United States may be considered if they can support Eastern Time client hours. Travel is approximately 10 to 25 percent .

Benefits

Compensation

$95 to $175 per hour depending on experience and sector depth. This is a fractional hourly engagement to start with the opportunity to grow as the practice develops.

Required Skills:

What You Will Do Technology Consulting Deliver technology assessments and planning engagements including current-state reviews requirements gathering stakeholder interviews and recommendations. Help clients develop technology procurement requirements and evaluation criteria. Support systems data infrastructure and technology adoption projects. Manage project milestones risks decisions and client communication. E-Rate Consulting Prepare and manage Forms 470 471 and 486 and supporting documentation. Coordinate competitive bidding vendor questions bid evaluation and procurement records. Prepare PIA responses and escalate eligibility or compliance questions when appropriate. Support BEAR and SPI invoicing and related registration requirements. Maintain accurate client engagement files compliance records and filing calendars. Identify and escalate potential conflicts of interest or compliance concerns. What We Are Looking For Experience delivering technology consulting or project work for schools districts public agencies or similar organizations. Working knowledge of networks wireless infrastructure systems devices and education technology environments. Strong project management documentation and client communication skills. Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines independently. Sound judgment when addressing procurement eligibility compliance or conflict-of-interest questions. E-Rate experience including familiarity with USAC processes and filings strongly preferred.
