Senior Bookkeeper

Our client is seeking an experienced Interim Senior Accountant or Bookkeeper to join their team immediately. This position offers a brief onsite training period in Nashville, TN period followed by a fully remote work arrangement. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in QuickBooks Online and Bill.com. Candidates must reside in the Middle TN area. Responsibilities Set up and onboard new clients in QuickBooks Online and Bill.com Review prior-year tax returns and establish client accounting records based on tax return data Download, categorize, and import credit card transactions into QuickBooks Online Review investment statements and establish investment account activity within QuickBooks Analyze mortgage statements and accurately set up related accounts and transactions in QuickBooks Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records and supporting documentation Assist with additional bookkeeping and accounting projects as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred Minimum of 3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online Experience using Bill.com (Bill) Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment Experience with investment accounts, mortgage accounting, and financial statement review is a plus
