Associate Planner

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Associate Planner to join our Planning department. This role supports the planning and allocation of our swimwear assortment across both e-commerce and wholesale channels, with a particular focus on our core/replenishment business. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with a genuine eye for product and merchandising, thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, and is eager to grow within the planning function. Must be available to work in our Huntington Beach, CA office at least 2 days per week. Roles and Responsibilities Support the development and management of seasonal financial plans, sales forecasts, and inventory strategies across e-commerce and wholesale channels. Manage and maintain replenishment of core/evergreen/forever styles to ensure consistent in-stock levels and minimize lost sales for .com, wholesale and Amazon. Analyze weekly and monthly sales trends, inventory levels, and product performance to identify opportunities and risks. Partner with cross-functional teams (operations, wholesale, design) to align assortment strategy and inventory flow. Build and maintain detailed reports, trackers, and forecasts using Excel. Monitor sell-through and provide recommendations for reorders, markdowns, and inventory reallocation. Assist with pre-season and in-season planning, including size curve analysis and store/channel-level allocation. Identify merchandising opportunities based on product performance, style attributes, and market trends. Support month-end and season-end recaps, providing insights and recommendations to leadership. Support purchase order writing, markdowns and other data entry ad hoc tasks. Maintain a positive work climate and an environment based on trust, diversity, and inclusion within the team. Qualifications 2-3 years of experience in planning and/or buying within retail, fashion, or outdoor/sporting goods industries Experience working across both e-commerce and wholesale business models Background in core/evergreen/replenishment planning strongly preferred Advanced proficiency in Excel Experience with NetSuite and Netstock a plus Strong analytical and quantitative skills with high attention to detail An eye for merchandising and product with the ability to translate data into actionable strategy Excellent organizational and time-management skills; able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Quick learner with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Fashion, or related field preferred Salary Range The anticipated base salary range for this role is $70,000-$85,000. Actual compensation may vary outside of this range depending on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies.
