Registered Nurse PACU

$1591.20/week - Job Summary: The PACU Registered Nurse will provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort. This role requires flexibility to work varied shifts and weekends on a 13-week travel assignment. Responsibilities: Assess patients' vital signs and overall condition upon arrival and throughout recovery. Monitor patients closely for adverse reactions or complications post-surgery. Administer medications and provide advanced nursing interventions as needed. Communicate effectively with surgical teams and family members regarding patient status. Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system. Adhere to unit policies, ASPAN guidelines, and dress code standards. Qualifications: Valid RN license with minimum 1 year of PACU or ICU experience. Demonstrate proficiency in general, neuro, oncology, orthopedics, and vascular surgical procedures. Capable of managing patient ratios of 1:2 efficiently. Able to work flexible shifts, including nighttime, weekends, and on-call.
