Clinical Scheduler / LPN

LPN Clinical SchedulerAdoration Home Health is currently seeking a full time LPN Clinical Scheduler to support our location in Manchester, TN. The ideal applicant will be an LPN experienced in home health (intermittent visits) nursing. The Clinical Scheduler / LPN will help support our field clinicians by scheduling their visits in the local community and will also assist with other administrative duties.Our comprehensive benefits include:Office LPN position (On call also available)Medical, Dental & Vision insurance401K retirement with Company matchTuition reimbursementCareer advancement opportunitiesResponsibilitiesGreets visitors in a courteous, professional, and timely mannerAssists with answering incoming calls from patients, staff, physician offices, referral sources, etc. and transfers caller to the appropriate person or departmentTakes messages when needed and relays to the appropriate person in a timely mannerSelects appropriate clinician for patient assignment based upon patient needs, location of the patient, and skill of the clinicianMaintains visit data in electronic medical recordQualificationsHigh school graduate or GEDMust hold valid license in the state of practice and in the state of residenceCurrent CPR certificationMinimum of one year clinical experience, preferably in home healthMinimum of two years of administrative experience in a healthcare environment, preferredHome health and/or hospice experienceSound knowledge of the framework, organization and function of home careProficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer) with the ability to learn industry specific software applicationsSolid organizational skills, thoroughness, and a keen attention to detail with the ability to multi-task while prioritizing effectivelyAbility to work independently and in a team environmentExcellent, oral, written, and interpersonal communication skillsProfessional appearance and demeanorBasic clinical skillsAbility to develop critical thinking skills, research situations, solve complex problems and deal with a variety of issues
