Software Engineer (F-35) - Early Career

Description Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Full Time Software Engineer. In this role, you will participate in all phases of the System Software lifecycle from supporting initial System Design concepts, software requirements development, design, implementation, integration and test, including writing automated test scripts, tools, and software that runs on the F-35. You will have experience and/or knowledge of the C++ programming language, object oriented design, and familiarity with Unix or Linux. Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Basic Qualifications Bachelor or above Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a STEM Discipline Experience developing software to run in Linux Operating Systems Experience with C++ language Desired Skills Agile Software Development Object Oriented Design Configuration Management Systems (e.g. Git) Software Development Tools (e.g. Eclipse) Atlassian Tools (e.g. Jira) Demonstrated communication skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment Proficient with Microsoft Office Security Clearance Statement This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret Work Location: Onsite Full-time at Lockheed Martin facility. Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week Experience Level: 4 years and up, College degree.
