Emergency Medicine – Clinical Faculty Rush University Medical Center Chicago, IL The Department of Emergency Medicine at Rush University Medical Center seeks an Emergency Medicine residency trained, Board Certified/Eligible physician. Ideal candidates will join the team with an academic appointment and the opportunity for professional growth and nonclinical time. The Department sees 66,000 patients a year in its new state-of-the-art facility. Rush Emergency Medicine proudly serves one of the most diverse urban communities in the country. The team trains rotating residents from multiple specialties, medical students and PAs and recently launched a new residency program. It is academically affiliated with the Cook County Emergency Medicine Residency Program and sponsors the joint Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Fellowship and Simulation Laboratory Fellowship. The ED is supported by social workers, and a chaplain in addition to consultants representing all specialties in medicine and surgery who take 24 hour call for the ED. Rush offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees. The total pay range reflected includes all factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, knowledge and skills; relevant experience and training; education, certifications, and licensure; primary work location; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range is for a full-time, 1.0 FTE employee, and includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role. Opportunities for increased compensation based on exceeding productivity targets. Additional compensation may include sign-on and retention bonuses and relocation allowances. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package. Pay Range: $300,000 - $355,000 Pay range represents assistant professor to associate professor.
