Fuel & Lube Technician (Dallas, TX) - Austin Equipment Yard

Austin Industries, one of the nation’s largest diversified construction companies, offers this opportunity for a Fuel Truck Driver at our equipment yard in Southwest Dallas, Texas near Duncanville. Responsibilities Perform daily maintenance on construction equipment. Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance. Fuel and grease equipment as needed. Monitor fluid levels and identify potential maintenance or mechanical concerns. Inspect fuel/lube equipment, hoses, pumps, and tanks to ensure safe operation. Attend daily safety meetings and follow safety policies and procedures. Adhere to jobsite safety protocols, environmental regulations, and hazardous materials handling requirements. Prevent and contain spills, and perform proper cleanup. Communicate effectively with supervisors and operators regarding equipment condition, service needs, and scheduling. Support field operations by responding promptly and professionally to fueling and lubrication requests. Follow company policies, DOT requirements, and Hazmat handling standards. Represent the company professionally on jobsites and while traveling. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience fueling and servicing heavy construction equipment, cranes, trucks, or related equipment. Knowledge of fuels, lubricants, oils, and fluids used in construction and heavy equipment operations. Familiarity with safe handling, transport, and dispensing of fuel and hazardous materials. Ability to perform daily vehicle and equipment inspections in accordance with DOT and company requirements. Comfortable operating fuel and lube service trucks in yard and jobsites. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with operators, supervisors, and dispatch. Ability to adapt to changing jobsite conditions, schedules, and project requirements. Attention to detail and awareness of surroundings for a safe work environment. Ability to work weekends or overnight as needed. Requirements 1+ years of experience fueling/oiling. Must possess a valid Class B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement. Strong commitment to jobsite safety. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and jobsite conditions. Ability to climb on and around equipment, handle hoses, and perform physically demanding tasks. Ability to work early mornings, extended hours, or weekends as needed.
