Our smaller size provides a quiet, close-knit environment where teamwork, support, and quality care come first. We are seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our therapy team. You will collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members to create individualized care plans and improve patient outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform evaluations within 24 hours (or 1 business day) of physician referralDevelop and implement individualized treatment plansProvide therapy services in accordance with physician ordersMonitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as neededMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentationParticipate in care plan meetings, rehab conferences, and discharge planningEducate residents, families, and staff on therapy programs and techniquesSupervise SLPAs and Clinical Fellows (CFY) as applicableConduct staff in-services and training programsEnsure compliance with all regulatory and facility guidelinesQualificationsDegree in Speech-Language Pathology (Master’s preferred)Active, unencumbered SLP license in South Carolina (required)CFY candidates welcomeExperience in long-term care or rehab preferredStrong knowledge of speech, cognitive, and swallowing disordersExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyWhy Join Piedmont Post Acute?At Piedmont, you’ll be part of a supportive team that values your expertise and encourages your growth.
