Job Details Specialty: ICU – Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 06/15/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Requirements Active RN License Degree from accredited nursing program BLS & ACLS Certification Eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care ICU setting Other requirements to be determined by client facility Duties and Responsibilities ICU/Critical Care Nurse (RN) manages the care of adult patients with life‑threatening problems requiring complex assessment, high‑intensity therapies, and interventions, including family education and support. Provide patient care and education for patients and families. Ensure proper functioning of life support equipment such as ventilators and feeding tubes. Observe patient vitals for signs of distress. Administer medication, IVs, and insert catheters as needed. Meticulously document medication administration. Assist in emergency nursing procedures for prompt control of changes in patient’s physical condition. Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation accurately and effectively.
