Production Assembly - 1st Shift1st Shift: 5:00AM-3:00PM M-TH (Fridays as needed for overtime, we are currently working 8 hours on Fridays)Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThis list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.Using drawings and blueprints, accurately assemble windows according to customer specificationsUse of hand tools (drills, screwdrivers, hammers) and various measuring equipmentEnsure quality on all assembled and pre-assembled materialsWork closely with a teamPackage and prepare windows for shippingSupport and cross train in other production areas as neededQualificationsBasic reading, writing, and math skills as well as the ability to read blueprints, drawings, and work instructionsAbility to read/use a tape measure and various hand toolsAbility to adapt – must be flexibleStrong attention to detailAbility to communicate effectivelyMust be willing to become forklift certified within the first 30 days of employmentPrior manufacturing experience is preferred but not required – willing to train the right candidateReliability and proven attendance at past jobsBenefit PackageTwo (2) weeks of vacation, on an accrual systemHealth, Dental, Vision, Disability, and Life Insurance after 30 days of employment on the 1st of the month10 Paid Holidays401K Plan with company match (50% up to 5%)Company Health Savings Account contributions ($500-$1800)Sign-On Bonus $500Maternity/Paternity PayPaid time off for birthdaysChildcare reimbursementGym ReimbursementFun Activities & Prizes throughout the yearPhysical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls.
