Mix Operating Technician

This role is responsible for weighing, mixing, and processing rubber compound formulations while ensuring quality, accuracy, and adherence to safety and production standards. We value hands-on problem solving, craftsmanship, collaboration, and a commitment to quality in everything we do./ph2Essential Duties Responsibilities/h2ulliFollow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment/liliMaintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with company standards/liliAdhere to all quality assurance procedures and manufacturing guidelines/liliMeet daily production goals established by Production leadership/liliWeigh and measure ingredients according to approved formulas and specifications/liliMix compound formulations following written instructions and batch procedures/liliMonitor mixing operations to ensure products meet quality and specification requirements/liliPerform visual inspections and verify ingredient weights during processing/liliMaintain formula traceability and follow FIFO/batch release procedures/liliMonitor inventory levels and notify leadership when ingredients or materials need replenishment/liliIdentify process improvement opportunities and submit recommendations as appropriate/liliPerform basic preventative maintenance and troubleshoot minor equipment issues/liliCoordinate with maintenance when repairs or additional support are needed/liliComplete additional duties and responsibilities as assigned/li/ulh2Qualifications/h2h3Education/h3ulliHigh School Diploma or GED required/li/ulh3Experience/h3ulliMinimum 5 years of experience in a rubber manufacturing or compound mixing environment preferred/li/ulh3Skills Competencies/h3ulliAbility to read, write, and follow detailed written and verbal instructions in English/liliStrong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy/liliAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment/liliStrong problem-solving and communication skills/liliFamiliarity with manufacturing safety procedures and production protocols/liliAbility to work independently while contributing within a team environment/li/ulh2Physical Requirements/h2ulliAbility to lift up to 70 lbs. regularly/liliAbility to stand for 8+ hours per shift/liliGood hand-eye coordination and close/distance vision capabilities/li/ulh2Training/h2ulliOn-the-job training will be provided on applicable procedures, work instructions, and equipment within the assigned area/li/ulpBenefits:/ppAt ABBA Roller, we recognize how important your career and benefits are to you and your family.
