Job Description and Duties
This position is located at the San Bernardino Field Office in San Bernardino.
Under general direction of the manager in a Grade IV field office, with minimal day-to-day supervision, the Licensing-Registration Examiner performs the most difficult and sensitive work in an environment which routinely requires a calm, courteous, and tactful approach in providing customer service. The incumbent interacts respectfully and effectively with supervisors, peers, other departmental employees, and supporting agencies, contributing to the overall efficiency of the office. The amount of time performing certain tasks may vary based on the needs of the office.

The position(s) being advertised may be subject to allocation approval by the Human Resources Branch. Fingerprint/Criminal Record Clearance is required before hire. The Salary Range shown is the minimum and maximum for a full-time appointment. Moving and relocation expenses will not be reimbursed for this position.

- The position(s) require(s) Medical Clearance prior to being hired.
- This is a sensitive position and may be subject to substance testing.
- Selected candidate will be required to participate in the DMV Pull Notice Program.
