Full Time Asheville, NC, US Position Summary The Receiving Clerk is responsible for all out incoming products and accurately processing all incoming material. This position reports to the Plant Manager. Principle Duties and Responsibilities Process all orders for shipment by reviewing shipping orders, and assembling the order weighing, wrapping, banding and labeling. Ensure accuracy of paperwork and product being received. Unload shipments from the truck with forklift or hand jack. Maintain receiving information, call carriers for daily deliveries, and balance UPS log daily. Process all incoming materials by inventorying, tagging, and staging for stockroom. Maintain record of incoming materials and purchase orders. Verify orders with received goods and processes and unloads material from trucks. Maintain MRO records. Comply with all ISO 9001 shipping and receiving quality procedures. Deliver material to stock room or quality department. Able to perform in a team environment. Required following all safety rules, use of proper PPE, and report any safety concerns Experience and Education Required High school education or equivalent. Ability to effectively use basic hand tools. Ability to follow both verbal and written communication. Microsoft D365 Knowledge preferred. Physical Requirements Able to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 25 lbs continuously and 50 lbs occasionally.
