Hospitalist Physician

Specialty: Obstetrics Hospitalist Physician
Coverage Dates: Mid-October start date; initial assignment to last 3-4 months (potential to extend if needed)
Shifts/Schedule Expectations: weeknights and weekend coverage. Occasional inpatient dayshifts
- Nights: 5 pm - 7 am
- Weekends: can be 24hr shifts 7 am - 7 am or 7 am - 5 pm / 5 pm- 7 am
- Setting: Hospital - Inpatient
- Daily Responsibilities: High-acuity OB Hospitalist procedures/deliveries + OB ED triage + emergent GYN procedures, and working with residents
- Call Schedule/Responsibilities: None (all shifts are in-house)
- PPD/Census: Estimated: Varies. At night, taking care of 2-4 patients per shift; may be called by OB ED for complicated cases; varies depending on acuity
- Number of Providers Per Shift & Support Staff: full support staff, OB attending, 3 residents, 5 midwives, 2 CRNAs OB anesthesiologist, nursing staff, etc.
- Required Credentials: Board Certified OBGYN
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring Certification
- Will a licensing candidate be considered: IMLC or CO active license required
- Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated 60-90 Days from time application is submittedBecome an ICON:
