Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• North Carolina state license for Speech-Language Pathology
• Either hold ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or be completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Previous experience working in school settings or with children preferred
• Adept at providing individualized speech therapy for diverse student needs
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one speech-language services to students according to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments, create personalized treatment plans, and document student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support students’ academic and social-emotional development
• Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to progress reports, and maintain accurate records
• Adapt therapy methods to accommodate students’ unique strengths and challenges
• Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations
