Must use independent judgment in applying knowledge of clinical cardiology, acoustic imaging technology, and problem-solving skills to optimize the echocardiographic evaluation, tailoring and expanding the exam to ensure comprehensiveness and diagnostic accuracy.Cardiac Sonographers hired into positions with St. Joseph Medical Center also serve satellite locations within the lower Northwest Network which currently includes: Bellingham, Lynden, Sedro Woolley, Anacortes and Friday Harbor. CAAHEP accredited program highly preferred.Candidates who have completed a minimum of a six-month full-time Cardiac Internship are preferred.1 year experience as cardiac sonographer preferredRDCS or RCS required. New Graduates have one year to obtain registration.
