Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 2+ years of recent experience License: ARRT or RCIS certification required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT R, CCI RCIS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Patient ratio experience - Charting system experience preferred Description: Looking for an ASAP start! Seeking a Cath Lab Tech with 2+ years of recent experience. The position requires ARRT or RCIS certification. Candidates must possess ACLS and BLS certifications. Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations is essential. Skills should include IABP placement/removal and interpretation of dysrhythmias. Proficiency in performing left and right heart catheterizations is necessary. Experience in percutaneous coronary interventions and angioplasty is required. Candidates should be able to recognize life-threatening arrhythmias. Maintaining a sterile field and following isolation precautions is important. The role involves equipment setup and being a room circulator. Travel experience is preferred. Previous travel experience candidates are welcome to apply as long as they are in good standing. Initial requests for time off must be included with the application. First-time travelers may be considered based on experience. Travel pairs may be submitted for consideration.
