Overview Automotive Mechanics - NTB and Tire Kingdom are joining the Mavis Tire family. We are looking for full-time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at our state-of-the-art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the High Point, NC area. Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States. Responsibilities Inspect and diagnose vehicles and perform a wide variety of undercar repairs. Complete services including brakes, suspension components (struts and shocks), oil changes, filter changes, fluid checks, and replacement of worn parts. Dismount, mount, rotate and balance tires as needed. Perform state-mmandated vehicle inspections where applicable. Qualifications Minimum requirements: At least 18 years of age Legally authorized to work in the United States Two years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience Extensive personal toolkit for undercar repairs Preferred qualifications: State inspection licenses ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5) Physical requirements: ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, reach, and perform repetitive movements; regularly lift and move items weighing over 50 pounds.
