Are you a passionate Application Support expert with a knack for financial technology? Are you looking for an opportunity to play a pivotal role within a high-performing IT team, working on global systems and actively contributing to continuous improvement?

We are seeking a talented Application Support Engineer to join our IT Support US Equity team. In this key role, you will be at the forefront of operational and project-related support for Sophis Equities, operating during US business hours. You will have a direct impact on the stability and efficiency of the IT systems used by our business line worldwide.

• Proactive Resolution: Efficiently manage application issues and requests from Sophis Equities users daily, ensuring prompt and accurate resolution.
• Strategic Monitoring: Oversee critical end-of-day processes and batch jobs during office hours, guaranteeing their reliability.
• Expert Support: Provide top-tier Level 1 and Level 2 technical support; functional support is a plus.
• Communication & Reporting: Clearly communicate and report issues/problems related to the equity perimeter.
• Innovation & Efficiency: Develop and maintain tools to enhance end-user service levels and facilitate support tasks.
• Collaboration & Automation: Assist Business Analysts in automating recurring requests.
• Quality Assurance: Perform non-regression testing to ensure application integrity.
• Application Lifecycle Management: Drive the smooth end-to-end operation of one or more applications, including daily monitoring, organizing maintenance work, and upgrades.
• Project Contribution: Actively contribute to the implementation of projects within the corresponding community.
• Release Management: Plan and deploy new releases in production.
• Work hours are 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, rotating week by week, ensuring consistent coverage.
• Provide support for weekend deliveries and target days as needed.
  
  
  Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Languages: Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Relevant Experience: 2-5 years of solid experience in an application support role.
• Application Expertise: Excellent application support skills with vendor or in-house applications, such as Sophis Equities.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the banking IT environment.
• Communication Prowess: Strong communication skills.
• Proactive Mindset: Proactive approach to incident remediation and continuous improvement/automation.
• Technical Proficiencies:
  
  
  • Experience with middleware tools: Ctrl-M, Zabbix, XLDeploy, Grid Computing (Datasynapse, in-house), and MQ.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages: Python, PowerShell, and Shell.
  • Familiarity with operating systems: Windows Server and UNIX.
  • Knowledge of databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and/or Sybase ASE.
    
    
    
  
  
  The salary range for the Associate position will be between $120,000 - 150,000. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package. Natixis also offers a generous benefits package, and you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award depending on company and individual performance.
