About the Role:
Roth Law Group PLLC is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Workers Compensation Paralegal to join their team in White Plains, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a dynamic legal environment, supporting attorneys and making a real difference for injured workers navigating the compensation system.
Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in managing workers' compensation cases from intake through resolution
Draft and file legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence with the Workers' Compensation Board
Communicate with clients, medical providers, and insurance carriers to gather case information
Maintain and organize case files, deadlines, and hearing schedules using case management software
Request, review, and summarize medical records and reports relevant to claims
Prepare attorneys for hearings, depositions, and trials by compiling necessary documentation
Monitor case statuses and follow up on outstanding items to ensure timely progression
Requirements:
Prior experience as a paralegal in workers' compensation or personal injury law strongly preferred
Familiarity with New York Workers' Compensation Board procedures and filings
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred
Bilingual candidates are a plus
