About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Float Duration: 24 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years in MS/Tele required. License: Valid RN license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required. Must-Have: - Open book EKG test required at orientation. - 1:6 patient ratio experience required. - Epic charting experience required. - Must be agreeable to floating to other facilities. - Must have ratings of 3-4 in all required skills. Description: This position offers an auto-offer with minimal requests for time off. Candidates are needed for an ASAP start. Weekly orientation will be provided. Shorter contracts will be accepted, with a preference for 24 weeks. Candidates must possess valid RN licenses from compact states. BLS and ACLS certifications must not expire within 30 days of the start date. The unit cares for patients with infectious diseases, hospice/palliative care, oncology, cardiac conditions, post-surgical care, bariatrics, urology, neurology, and orthopedics. Candidates must have experience in telemetry and managing a patient ratio of 1:6. The role requires flexibility to float between facilities as necessary. The schedule includes 12 weekend shifts per contract, with coverage every other weekend. The unit is supported by various interdisciplinary teams, including IV teams, physical therapy, and rapid response teams. Patients may be monitored remotely using tele-sitting cameras. Candidates will be expected to have competency in managing high-flow nasal cannula, IV protocols, interpreting dysrhythmias, and wound care.
