About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 24 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1.5 years in Medical/Surgical Telemetry required License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required, not expiring within 30 days of start Must-Have: - Open book EKG test required at orientation - Experience with ratio of 1:6 required - Experience with Epic charting system required - Required to float to a sister facility - Must have ratings of 3-4 in all required skills Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical/Surgical Telemetry. The nurse will be required to float to multiple units as needed. The unit cares for patients with various medical conditions, including infectious diseases, oncology, and post-surgical care. Experience with telemetry monitoring is essential. Candidates must have experience managing a patient ratio of 1:6. The facility provides interdisciplinary support through various services. Nurses are expected to administer medications, manage specialized equipment, and provide comprehensive patient care. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Weekly weekend shifts are a requirement of the position.
