Description Lift Truck Maintenance Technicians diagnose and perform mechanical, electrical and hydraulic repairs on a variety of powered industrial equipment, including Publix's lift trucks which are also commonly known as forklifts. They use hand tools as well as computerized testing equipment in order to locate and repair problems. The Technicians read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. To perform preventive maintenance, they routinely check items such as hydraulic fluid levels, tire pressure, the condition of the forks, drive control, steering and the brakes. Furthermore, they use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to generate and process the maintenance repairs performed.One of the following positions is available: Lift Truck Technician Class A, B, or C.The position offered is contingent upon the qualifications and work experience of the candidate.
