Travel Radiology Technologist - $1,785 per week

Job Details Role: Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) Location: Atlanta, GA Start Date: 07/06/2026 Duration: 6 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, evenings Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities As a Rad Tech, you will be responsible for the use of diagnostic imaging equipment, ensuring accurate images and passing them to physicians for interpretation and preparing and caring for patients undergoing radiologic testing. Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients. Follow orders from physicians regarding the areas of the body to image. Correctly position patients and adjust equipment to the appropriate position. Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure by taking appropriate protection precautions. Calibrate imaging equipment. Prepare results for physicians to review. Maintain accurate patient records. Understand and use the McKesson PACS system. Requirements Minimum of 1 year experience. BLS, ARRT (R) National Certification. State-specific licensing when required. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Availability to start immediately. Job ID: 1430542.
