Guest Service Captain At TownePark, the Guest Service Captain orchestrates the service experience for hotel guests, ensuring that site service standards are met or exceeded. Working under the direction of the Account Manager, the role includes coordination, administration, and troubleshooting when the manager is absent. Key Responsibilities Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, staff, and coworkers; acknowledge and greet guests within 30 seconds of arrival. Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests, check in arriving guests, explain parking and retrieval procedures, and retrieve vehicles safely. Use proper phone etiquette; assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries; maintain detailed knowledge of client facilities and local attractions. Promote teamwork by leading and coordinating associates, assigning routine roles, and adjusting staffing as business conditions dictate. Issue claim checks to guests after receiving vehicle keys; complete ticket information and secure keys safely. Ensure no “lift” services are provided to guests; check and clean wheelchairs; protect guest confidentiality per HIPAA. Assist the Account Manager with building schedules, notifying associates of changes, collecting revenue, completing shift reports, and reconciling revenue and tickets. Compensation & Schedule Hourly base pay: $14 per hour plus $5–$10 per hour in tips. Work schedule includes AM, PM, and overnight shifts. Eligibility depends on job classification, length of employment, and hours worked. Seasonal and temporary roles are not eligible for benefits. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Minimum 18 years of age, with successful criminal background, MVR, and drug screen. Completion of Wheelchair Safety Training provided by TownePark. Six months related experience or equivalent education and experience combination. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to drive manual transmission. Standard English proficiency (read, write, speak, comprehend). Basic mathematical skills for use of currency and time calculations. Physical Requirements & Working Conditions Requires standing, walking, climbing stairs, reaching, lifting up to 100pounds occasionally, 50pounds frequently, 20pounds constantly. Work performed outdoors under various environmental conditions including extreme heat and cold. Travel up to 5% may be required.
