Sourcing Specialist III - LSG Indirect

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Procurement Sourcing Specialist III to develop and execute sourcing strategies for indirect spend categories, manage contract lifecycles, and negotiate supplier agreements. The role involves strategic and tactical procurement activities with accountability for spend above $1MM across multiple categories.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic sourcing activities and vendor negotiations for spend categories exceeding $1MM
- Manage complete contract lifecycle including templates, tracking, and expiration monitoring
- Develop and execute RFPs, conduct cost analysis, benchmarking, and sourcing scenario evaluations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into RFPs and contracts
- Track and report key procurement metrics to reduce expenses and improve operational effectiveness
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent procurement experience
- Minimum 5 years of procurement and sourcing experience
- Proficiency with ERP systems, spend analytics, eSourcing, and contract management platforms
- Experience negotiating supplier contracts and executing strategic sourcing initiatives
- Background in life sciences, medical devices, or regulated pharmaceutical industries preferred
- Professional certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, or CPM desirable
- Strong analytical capabilities with demonstrated cost savings and process improvement achievements
Compensation: $83,300–$125,000 base
