About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years required License: California state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: - Hospital experience is required. - Prior experience in Emergency Department is required. - Level II trauma experience is required. Description: This position involves working day shifts of 12 hours with varying start times. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience in a hospital setting. The facility has a total of 26 beds and sees approximately 120 visits per day. Various patient age groups will be cared for, including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The role requires knowledge of general emergency procedures and management of dysrhythmias. Successful candidates will be responsible for starting and maintaining IVs, triage, and isolation precautions. Travelers may need to float between facilities as necessary. Candidates may be expected to work two of the three major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. References will be required as part of the compliance process. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for this role.
