About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:45 - 07:15) Experience: Minimum 2 years in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic experience required License: Valid California Registered Nurse License required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Applicants must have experience in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic cases due to trauma status. Candidates may need to cover one night shift within their contract as needed. Description: Applicants will be responsible for providing care to patients in the operating room. Experience in surgeries such as abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, trauma cases, and total joint replacements is essential. The candidate should be familiar with various procedures and technologies used in the operating room. Call will be distributed equally among all nursing staff every 6 weeks. Floating between similar units may be required. Travelers must be willing to accommodate a block schedule as per manager discretion. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are necessary.
