Construction Safety Associate (350)

ESS-350 Summary Job Position: EH&S Professionals Salary/Pay: $34-38 /hour, Per diem $125. Shift: Day Shift - 6/10s Location: Saline, MI Start Date: 5/15/26 through December 2026 Eligible for overtime after 40 hours. Requirements Three years' experience in Construction includes: Roofing Work/Leading Edge and Fall Restraint/Prevention safe practices, Aerial Lifts, light to medium crane to roof rigging activities. Provide EH&S technical and cultural leadership for the roofing project team. Work with the assigned company Project and/or Construction Manager to ensure all applicable technical elements are understood and subsequent EH&S requirements are met for the site. Conduct ongoing field safety assessments and formal safety audits of activities related to the roofing activities, as specified in the assigned company written Safety Program for the project. Act as a technical safety advisor to the Project/Construction Manager and Employees. Facilitate regular site safety meetings and new employee/site orientations as needed. Complete regular, standardized reports detailing project safety status and report to the Project/Construction Manager or designee. Must be able to advise on OSHA, EPA and other pertinent safety and environmental requirements. Assist in external agency interactions (OSHA Inspectors, OSHA Log Management) as appropriate. Additional Requirements Strong computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, data entry, document management, tracking systems). Must be a good communicator and team oriented.
