Job description: Required experience: 1.5 years general nursing experience. BSN required. MUST BE ICU LEVEL RN, willing to float to MedSurg/Tele. BLS, ACLS, NIHSS. South Dakota or compact RN license. ICU level RN – willing to float to Med/Tele – this is a float pool position throughout scope of practice. Must have experience with titration drips: Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Levo, Dopamine, Insulin. Cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV starts, blood product administration, CIWA, drain/tube management, indwelling and straight catheter insertion/management, continuous bladder irrigation, chest tube maintenance. Experience with cardiac procedural recovery (CABG/TAVR/post cardiac cath), MI pharmacology, Heparin gtts.

Patient population: Orthopedics, neuro (stroke, transient ischemic attack, etc.), surgical, medical (urinary tract infection, pneumonia, failure to thrive, etc.), intermediate care (sepsis, diabetic ketoacidosis, end-stage renal, alcohol withdrawal, etc.), oncology, heart and vascular (chest pain, heart failure, pre/post cardiac cath, etc.)
