Healthcare Construction Manager

Your future role at a glance Location: Austin, TX Facility: Ascension Seton Cove/Hybrid Department: Construction Schedule: Days l Full-time l 40 hours per week How you'll make an impact in this role Directed scope, schedule, and budget for healthcare capital projects across planning, design, bid management, and construction. Tracked real-time performance using earned value, budget burn, percent complete, and effort forecasting to optimize project delivery within constraints. Ensured strict adherence to healthcare safety codes, regulatory standards, accreditation requirements, and national construction frameworks. Implemented robust quality assurance protocols and warranty management to maintain high-quality work and operational safety across facility renovations. Coordinated cross-functional teams, architects, engineers, and hospital staff to align strategic goals, define roles, and meet project timelines. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensed Construction Professional preferred. Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC). Project Mgmt Professional preferred. Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) accepted. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred. What additional requirements you'll need Low voltage experience is preferred.
