COTA Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate COTA Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Hadley Pointe for Nursing Rehab and Care in Hadley, MA. As a COTA Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life. Responsibilities:
• Assist Occupational Therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to improve patients' cognitive, physical, and behavioral abilities
• Conduct patient assessments and screenings to identify areas of strength and weakness
• Design and implement creative and effective interventions to enhance patient participation and engagement
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
• Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on adaptive strategies and techniques
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans

Requirements:
COTA certification
Current licensure as a COTA in the State of Massachusetts
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum 0 years of experience as a COTA
