Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Atlassian Administrator to manage, optimize, and enhance our Atlassian ecosystem, including Jira Software , Jira Service Management , and Confluence . This role will also provide secondary support for Power BI , Alteryx , and SQL-based reporting platforms. Compensation: $38-$43/hr Primary Responsibilities - Atlassian Administration
- Configure and maintain Jira Software , Jira Service Management , and Confluence .
- Create and manage workflows , custom fields , screens , permission schemes , and automation rules .
- Administer service desk portals , request types, SLAs, and queues.
- Standardize Confluence spaces , templates, and permissions for cross-team collaboration.
- Monitor system health, performance, and capacity planning for Atlassian tools.
- Develop and manage Jira dashboards , filters, and reports for stakeholders.
- Oversee workspace access, dataset refreshes, and report publishing.
- Support integration with Alteryx and SQL Server, and assist with Fabric report infrastructure.
- Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot workflows.
- Manage user roles, workflow versioning, and gallery enhancements.
- Write and optimize SQL queries, join tables, and troubleshoot data issues.
- Administer SSRS reports, including publishing, permissions, and performance tuning.
- Connect Atlassian tools with third-party applications using APIs , connectors, or middleware.
- Build and maintain automation rules in Jira and Confluence.
- Use scripting tools (e.g., Python , Power Automate ) for advanced automation and integrations.
- Maintain clear documentation of configurations, processes, and change history.
- Ensure systems meet security and compliance standards (SOC, HIPAA).
- 3-5 years of experience administering Atlassian tools (Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence).
- Strong knowledge of Jira workflows , permission schemes , and automation rules .
- Familiarity with SQL , scripting (Python preferred), and enterprise reporting tools.
- Experience with API integrations and system automation.
- Certifications in Atlassian Administration , Power BI , or related tools are a plus.
- Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies.
