Remote Senior Back-End Developer (Python)

Location: Fully Remote (CET Time Zone) Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week) Start Date: Second Week of January 2025 We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Back-End Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python, specifically utilizing the Django framework, and will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust back-end solutions in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain back-end applications using Python and Django
- Design and implement RESTful APIs that handle several hundred requests per minute
- Integrate with various systems, including Microsoft 365, Exchange Servers, Google Calendar, HubSpot, etc
- Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability
- Collaborate with front-end developers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and functionality
- Utilize SQL for effective data management and database interactions
- Work within a Linux development environment and employ containerization tools like Docker
- Participate in code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and promoting best practices.
- Proven experience as a Back-End Developer, with a strong emphasis on Python and Django
- In-depth understanding of RESTful API design and development
- Solid experience with SQL and database management
- Familiarity with performance optimization techniques for high-traffic applications
- Experience working with integrations involving Microsoft 365, Exchange Servers, Google Calendar, and other third-party services
- Comfortable working in a Linux development environment
- Familiarity with Docker and containerization
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
