Job Description:Position Summary:Responsible to assist the Operations Manager in the development and attainment of the business through setting goals and strategies as related to manufacturing and materials. Assists the Operations Manager in budget planning and forecasting and adheres to all policies and procedures in manufacturing as related to materials management.Primary Responsibilities:Responsible for the safety and health of all functional Team MembersEnsure cycle counts are performed as requiredManage all inventory levels consistent with the requirements of World Class ManufacturingDevelop continuous improvement initiatives to reduce inventory, work in process (WIP), raw materials, and finished goods without effecting customer delivery or decrease in volumeDevelop and implement a tactical material flow planning process for production planning departments. Drive WIP inventory reduction planning and stock inventory levels to meet monthly reduction requirements.
