Surgery - Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner

Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Advanced Practice Provider (APP) with neurosurgery experience for a temporary assignment from June 15, 2026 September 8, 2026 . This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled neurosurgical team in a collaborative inpatient and outpatient setting.

Schedule

• Monday Friday
• 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
• No call required

Practice Setting

• Inpatient and outpatient care

Work Responsibilities

• Conduct inpatient consults
• Provide clinic coverage for outpatient visits
• Perform minor bedside procedures including:
  • Suturing
  • Staple and suture removal
  • Drain removal

Patient Load

• Mix of inpatient consults and follow-up care

Support & Supervision

• Work alongside and be supported by the NJMS neurosurgical group

Requirements

• Board Certification required
• Active and unrestricted license (state-specific requirements apply)
• Prior neurosurgery or surgical experience preferred

EMR System

• EPIC
