Veterinary Pharmacy Technician

Bay Animal Hospital is seeking a talented Veterinary Pharmacy Technician to join our team! Are you a detail-oriented person with a passion for veterinary medicine and pharmacology? We’re looking for a Veterinary Pharmacy Technician to join our team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for accurately filling prescriptions, managing inventory, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting our veterinary team in providing top-notch patient care. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a solid understanding of veterinary medications and dosing. Prior experience in a veterinary or pharmacy setting is a plus! Schedule and compensation: Compensation: $ 23 - 25 per hour, for each hour worked This is a full-time position, with a 5/8 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday . The 5,000-square-foot hospital was renovated in 2020 and features 8 exam rooms, digital X-ray, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, and ECG. Case exposure includes soft tissue surgery, dentistry, orthopedic procedures, and mass removals, with visiting orthopedic and cardiology specialists. This is a good-faith estimate based on the role's requirements at the time of posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
