Position: RN- Float, Med/Surg, Step Down

Location: Pontiac, MI

Duration: 13 Weeks

Contract Shift: Nights (3x12)

Shift Notes: 36 Hour Guarantee

Job Description:

• Establishes a therapeutic relationship and creates a detailed plan of care with the patient and family, mutually determining the aspects of care which are most important.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of plans and interventions to promote optimum achievement of established goals. Initiates and maintains open communication with other members of the team to assure that the patient and family receive the full scope of interdisciplinary expertise and services with a coordinated and integrated plan of care.
• Communicates with patients, families, subordinate staff and peers to ensure that plans and associated interventions are understood, operationalized and revised, as appropriate.

• 2+ Years of experience - Required
• Travel - Required
• Okay with Floating - Required
• Firm start date
• Travelers Can expect 10-20 hours worth of HealthStream and Cerner Modules to complete prior to start. They will be paid $300 on week one of their assignment if modules are completed prior to start.
