The Shop Leader will motivate and lead team members, uphold standards in the kitchen and front of house, and ensure a safe, positive environment for guests and the team. While working as a Shop Leader, you will lead all team members and keep the shops buzzing having fun while creating an incredible dining experience for our guests. Shop Leaders ensure daily tasks are completed and team members are fully prepared for their shifts. Shop Leaders are hardworking, passionate, and demonstrate strong leadership and coaching skills. Shop leaders will also work hourly Front of House or Kitchen Supervisor roles for some shifts. This role will lay the groundwork for future growth, leadership opportunities, and promotion within Call Your Mother./ph3Shop Leader Responsibilities:/h3ulliManaging operations of the shop including preparing the shop to open, executing service, to closing; all at the highest level/liliProvide direct leadership during assigned shifts, ensuring efficient workflow and high team performance/liliServing as an ambassador of CYM VIBES and owning all guest experience moments, ensuring satisfaction and exceptional service/liliProactively solving any problems that arise and always taking initiative to keep the shop running at its best, most efficient capacity/liliManage and lead team members through regular VIBE Ups, on-the-job training, coaching, and motivation to deliver great guest experiences/liliSupport and enforce CYMs high operational standards by holding yourself and your team accountable to checklists, recipes, and standardized tools/liliMaintain cash handling procedures, including processing transactions and daily financial reporting/liliCollaborate with your General Manager and fellow leaders to create a positive, inclusive, and efficient work environment/liliAssist in managing and maintaining the shops cleanliness, organization, equipment, and physical spaceincluding storage, RM issues, trash pickups, linens, and deep cleaning/liliWhen applicable, ensure daily vendor orders are placed accurately and on time to maintain inventory and prep/liliDemonstrate focus on all food safety standards and commitment to a safe shop environment/liliComplete required training, including harassment prevention, and reinforce policy compliance with the team; act as a model of compliance in handling incidents, emergencies, and escalating employee or guest issues appropriately/liliIf there is an issue (call-outs, emergency), the Shop Leader will solve it in the best interest of the shop and escalate to Management including General Manager and District Manager/liliWork as a FOH Team Member or Kitchen Supervisor on some shifts to stay hands-on and lead by example/li/ulh3As a CYM Team Member, Youll Make an Impact By:/h3ulliCreating extraordinary moments for guests/liliContributing to our business with your ideas and feedback/liliSupporting and lifting up our communities and neighborhoods/liliMentoring and developing your staff/liliBeing yourself and making genuine relationships with other team members and guests/li/ulh3Youll Be a Great Addition to the CYM Team If You:/h3ulliHave 1-2 years experience in a shift leader or keyholder role/liliHave ServeSafe Managers Food Safety Certification/liliAre hospitality-oriented and hold a passion for the guest experience/liliTake initiative, youre proactive, and can think of the big picture/liliHave high-energy, positive can-do attitude that thrives in fast-paced environment/liliTreat others with kindness and respect/liliAre a team player and always willing to help others/liliWork calmly and effectively under pressure; seek to solve problems/liliCommunicate clearly and efficiently; Proven coaching and leadership skills for a diverse staff/liliCan work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends and holidays./liliMust complete a background check/li/ulh3Physical Requirements:/h3ulliMay stand for long periods of time/liliMay lift up to 50 pounds/liliMust be able to bend and reach overhead often/liliMust possess dexterity to handle tools and equipment/liliMust be comfortable working in temperatures ranging from hot to cold/liliMay be required to work in tight spaces/liliMust maintain near constant communication with multiple people/liliClose vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision is required/liliMust be able to sit, squat and kneel occasionally/liliMust be able to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner/liliMay be required to occasionally work in outdoor weather conditions/li/ulh3Youll Love Working at CYM Because:/h3ulliHourly wage: $21.95/hour + tips when working Shop Leaders shifts.
