Lead Infrastructure Engineer

About this role:Well Fargo is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join the WIM Technology iCTO Business & Client Integration organization. This position is not exclusively hands-on technical support but will act as a key assistant leader for solutioning. The lead will act as a stand-in for leadership or stakeholders to facilitate identification of issues, planning, implementation and remediation.This engineer will play a critical role in bridging business and technology, translating business needs into clear requirements. The role partners closely with cross‑functional stakeholders, product teams, and technology partners to support enterprise integration initiatives that directly impact Advisor experiences. Success in this role requires being cognizant of introducing changes a heavily regulated client facing LOB, experience working across large enterprise platforms, and the ability to influence outcomes across multiple initiatives while ensuring alignment to enterprise standards and regulatory needs.In this role, you will:Assist overseeing Information Technology Infrastructure across multiple locationsIdentify and recommend opportunities for the support and delivery of internal and external software solutionsLead efforts and drive strategic conversationsAssist with managing and developing solutions that are in the best interest of the WIM LOBRecommend actions that meet Enterprise deliverables while balancing expected business experience outcomesCollaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managersLead complex initiatives to develop infrastructure to provide solutions for business applicationsBe engaged, drive and lead complex initiatives to provide technological solutions with broad impact for WIM Line of BusinessAct as a key participant in providing strategic business solutions to companywide technology initiativesParticipate in various projects intended to continually improve or upgrade the infrastructureEvaluate highly complex business problems and provide subject matter knowledge proficiency for technology initiativesDefine and lead detailed research on business and technology requests to develop efficient and accurate functional requirementsMake decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of the End User Computing domain and technology applications, and which influence companywide technology solutionsCollaborate and consult with business and technology teams to provide comprehensive technological solutions for complex business problemsEnsure communication and information flow between business and technology teamsRequired Qualifications:5+ years of Information Technology in support of Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education4+ years of experience supporting large-scale, cross-functional initiatives acting as a leader or co-lead4+ years of experience contributing to governance processes, execution cadence, and portfolio-level reporting in a complex enterprise environment2+ years of Application/Desktop support & troubleshooting skills with a keen focus on client experience1+ years of experience delivering successful desktop migration servicesDesired Qualifications:Familiarity with WIM Business groupsProven ability to triage complex issues and drive resolution across multiple teamsAbility to navigate ambiguity create shared vision, inspire collaboration, and drive changeAbility to operate effectively in a highly matrixed and regulated LOBAbility to create strong professional partnershipsExcellent organizational skillsExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to execute in a fast paced, high demand environment while balancing multiple high priority, high complexity, and high-risk efforts simultaneouslyLocations:1525 W.
