Pharmacy Technician in Murfreesboro, TN

A pharmacy technician position is available with a trusted mail order and renal specialty pharmacy filling approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. This contract role offers a 13-week assignment with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week. There is potential for this role to transition into a temp-to-hire position, which requires Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification for permanent placement.

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a pharmacy technician registered with the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy
• PTCB certification required for temp-to-hire consideration
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills

• Experience with pharmacy order entry systems preferred (Wellsky knowledge is a plus)

Responsibilities:

• Fill and dispense medications accurately in the dispensing role
• Verify shipping information and enter new patient information in the customer service role
