Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse

Location: South Carolina

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shifts, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), 36 hours/week. Every other weekend and holiday rotation required.

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our float pool. The Registered Nurse will float within the scope to meet facility needs across all pediatric units, including CVPICU, NICU, and PICU.

Responsibilities:

• Provide critical care for pediatric patients in various units.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs and medical data.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Utilize specialized equipment and technology for patient care.
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of Pediatric ICU experience.
• Current South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License.
• Certification in BLS and PALS (must be from American Heart Association).
• Experience with ECMO and CRRT preferred.
