The site also plays an important role in training and mentoring aviation maintenance professionals, reinforcing Daher's commitment to safety, technical excellence, and continuous improvement within its global aircraft support network.DAHER Aircraft Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior A&P Mechanic to join our growing team at our Pompano Beach facility. This role is ideal for a highly skilled aviation maintenance professional with at least eight years of hands-on experience, ideally with turboprop aircraft such as the TBM and Kodiak series. The Senior A&P Mechanic will perform and oversee complex maintenance, repair, and inspection tasks on aircraft, engines, and components, ensuring compliance with all FAA and company standards.Primary Role and Responsibilities:Perform and lead advanced maintenance, repairs, and inspections in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer specifications (IPC, AMM, OHM, CMM, etc.)Serve as a technical expert and mentor to junior mechanics, providing guidance and oversight on maintenance procedures and best practicesMust be able to teach and coach junior mechanics and work well in team settingsConduct detailed diagnostics and troubleshooting of airframe structures, powerplants, and aircraft systemsOversee and execute complex repairs and modifications, including component overhaul, system calibration, and structural repairsEnsure all maintenance documentation is completed accurately and in accordance with the Repair Station Manual and Quality Control ManualAble to properly document maintenance performed, and familiarization with logbook entriesCollaborate with the Quality Assurance team and service management to resolve technical issues and streamline processesMaintain safe work practices and support continuous improvement initiatives across the maintenance operationWhat you need to have:FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification requiredInspection Authorization (IA) designation highly preferredEight or more years of progressive experience in aviation maintenance, with demonstrated expertise in turbine-powered aircraft; TBM or other turboprop experience strongly preferredStrong diagnostic, troubleshooting, mechanical and avionics skillsAble to work with minimal or no supervisionEngine run and taxi experience preferredAdvanced knowledge of aviation maintenance software and digital documentation tools requiredHigh school diploma or GED required; technical training or associate degree in aviation maintenance technology preferredMust be authorized to work in the United States and hold a valid U.S. driver's licenseAbility to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checkInformation related to the position:The compensation range starts at $48.00 per hour in base salary plus an annual target bonus.
