Job Title

Registered Nurse – PACU

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | 4x10-hour shifts per week, 10:30 AM – 9:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring for patients recovering from surgical or procedural sedation
• Assess and manage patient pain, airway, hemodynamic stability, and level of consciousness in the PACU setting
• Collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams to ensure safe and timely patient transitions
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the medical record
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and discharge instructions

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Compact or Georgia license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 18 months of PACU nursing experience
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills in a post-anesthesia care environment
• Ability to work 10-hour shifts on an established schedule of 40 hours per week

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Professional references available upon request
• Experience in a high-volume or acute care PACU setting
